Kids will love the hotel’s resort-style outdoor swimming pool and dedicated kid’s wading pool for splashing fun under the sun, but parents are strongly advised to keep watch as there is no lifeguard on duty. Not forgetting the buffet breakfast which includes almost everything families love from pancakes to nasi lemak, giving little picky eaters something to smile about.

Most parents I know who have enjoyed a staycation there with their little ones absolutely adore staying at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur because of the thoughtful amenities for children, the friendly staff who go out of their way to make the stay special for both the kids and parents, and the walking distance to the Suria KLCC Shopping Mall.

One of this hotel’s biggest hits is its free-form swimming pool. It’s cleverly designed with a large “hive”-shaped water slide that will see your little ones coming back for more, private pockets of jacuzzis that parents can lounge in, and a gradually deeper area for parents who want to get some aquatic exercise in before a lavish buffet dinner or a relaxing spa at the M Spa.
