You were probably praying for the food to come quickly and for the other diners to be a little kinder and avoid staring at the impatiently hungry little ones. That probably put you off dining out as a family for a good long while and now you find yourself longing for a hearty meal that wasn’t from your kitchen nor your food delivery apps.

For the little part of you inside that’s still holding out hope at the chance to dine out, here’s the good news you have been waiting for. 1. The Midnight Baker Cafe & Bakery, Mont Kiara

Tucked within the peaceful enclave of Seni Mont Kiara, the Midnight Baker Cafe & Bakery is a cosy little find for families looking to unwind over brunch. What awaits is a menu brimming with homey finds such as fluffy pancakes, hearty brioche French toasts, gourmet toasties, all-day breakfast sets, gluten-free loaf cakes, and more with an emphasis on little to no preservatives.

But the real highlight of this cosy cafe for families is its thoughtful inclusion of a dedicated kids’ play area. And when I say play area, I mean a full-fledged double-storey playhouse with a slide and a play-kitchen within its lower half. This means that parents can not only savour their meals and hot coffee in peace, but also plan a relaxing catch-up session with friends they may not have seen in a while as their kids enjoy countless kids activities within the playhouse.

Oh and did we mention that the Midnight Baker Cafe & Bakery is pet-friendly too? So bring your little ones and furkids along for a truly memorable family brunch! Don't forget to bring along your kid's OiYO Snacky Pack to pack any extra cakes or leftovers from their brunch as they will likely be way too preoccupied playing to fully indulge in their food!
